Green Belt Trust is an independent, non-profitable, non-partisan organization which works with Environment, Youth empowerment and Social development. The main purpose of this organization is conservation of environment. As green Belt Trust is Youth based organization it is always trusted in young exultation. Thus it works with youth empowerment. And different kinds of social development get priority at this organizational objective. The organization is set up to ensure conserve environment, health for all and Universal peace. Youth and Unity is the strength of this organization.
Green Belt Trust started from Dhaka University of Bangladesh. Some students of this University were the initiators. They dreamed for a healthy livable world thus environment got the main priority. GBT started walking from Dhaka University. This organization has been arranging Rally, Human chain, demonstration, Seminar, workshop To create awareness for conservation of environment and implement policies for conservation of environment. Youth empowerment is another prime issue of us. We think youths can change our nation and bring the success in all sector. As Bangladesh is disaster prone country GBT is always concern about disaster from the very beginning. GBT works with disaster awareness and preparedness. GBT make advocacy and policy for the development sector. Youth and unity is the main resource of this organization.
